Phil Posner is a patient with multiple sclerosis and atrial fibrillation. He has been involved in research and teaching at several major institutions, and has served as a patient representative for the FDA and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute. Dr. Posner volunteers with the National Capitol MS Society through various programs. He currently serves as a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute Ambassador and was formerly on the Patient Engagement Advisory Panel. He is also a patient representative on several patient-centered research projects, a co-chair of the National Coordinating Center-Beneficiary and Family Centered Care-Quality Improvement Organization, and a member of the iConquerMS research committee. Dr. Posner is the chair of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s Accessibility Advisory Committee.
