Dawn Aldrich is the cofounder of Solutions Cancer Resource Center, a nonprofit center that provides information and assistance to cancer-diagnosed clients, their families, and friends. She is a strong advocate for underserved communities, focusing on educating and empowering others. She is the author of the audio-book series, The Day That Changed My Life: Cancer, An Uncertain Journey, a guide for newly diagnosed cancer patients and their support system. She has promoted cancer awareness through the arts, producing the off-Broadway play The Day That Changed My Life and a documentary, which was shown at the Showcase Cinema De Lux theatre. She is a speaker and mentor who has traveled throughout the country.
