Bram Zuckerman, MD, joined the FDA’s Office of Cardiovascular Devices as a medical officer earlier in his career and has been director for more than a decade. He has been actively involved in clinical trial design for new cardiovascular devices. He is trained in internal medicine and cardiology, has been involved in basic research in hemodynamics, and practiced noninvasive and invasive cardiology prior to transitioning to his career with the FDA.
